Question: What is the stance of the Bible on consuming a large amount of wine during meals? Would there be any consequences if one does not experience any negative effects from it?
From my own knowledge of the Bible, moderation in all things!
The fact that the Lord did not abstain, except towards His time on Earth was getting short (“I will not drink wine again, until new, in my Father’s Kingdom” Matt. 26:29)!
Also; “be not drunk with wine, but be filled with the Holy Spirit”; Eph. 5:18.
